Manage an I/O resource

You can add, remove, and move I/O adapters or devices. Click the I/O resource and click Add, Remove, or Move to:

• To add an I/O adapter or device, choose one from the list of currently unallocated I/O adapters and devices. Click Save to add it to the selected logical partition.
• To remove an I/O adapter or device, choose one from the list of currently allocated I/O adapters and devices. Click Save to remove it from the selected logical partition.
• To move an I/O adapter or device, choose one from the list of currently allocated I/O adapters and devices and use the down arrow to select the target logical partition. Click Save to move it to the logical partition you selected.
