Displays the current state of the frame. Possible values are:
Standby states: At least one of the bulk power assemblies (BPAs) contained in the frame is in the Standby state. A bulk power assembly in the Standby state is ready to accept commands that are sent from the HMC. A bulk power assembly in the Standby state is operating normally. The frame state does not change when the frame is initialized. The state of the managed systems that are contained in the frame changes during initialization. To see the state of the managed systems, expand Server and Partition and select Server Management. The state of each managed system is shown in the list.
Possible standby states are:
Standby/Standby: Both of the bulk power assemblies (BPAs) contained in the frame are in the Standby state. A bulk power assembly in the Standby state is operating normally.
Standby/Not Available: One of the bulk power assemblies (BPAs) contained in the frame is operating normally (in the Standby state), but the other BPA is not operating normally.
Standby/Starting: One of the bulk power assemblies (BPAs) contained in the frame is operating normally (in the Standby state), and the other BPA is in the process of starting.
Starting/Unknown: One of the bulk power assemblies (BPAs) contained in the frame is in the process of starting. The state of the other BPA is unknown.
Frame number change pending: A change to the frame number is in process. No operations can be performed when the frame is in this state. You cannot view properties of a frame when it is in this state. Information about the frame will be refreshed after the change is complete and the frame is no longer in this state.
Failed Authentication: The frame password is not synchronized with the HMC password.
Pending Authentication - Password Updates Required: The system is waiting for the password to be updated.
No Connection: The HMC failed to connect with the managed frame.
Incomplete: The HMC failed to get all of the necessary information from the managed frame.
