Source partition: Amount to move

Enter the amount of memory that you want to move from the source logical partition to the destination logical partition.

The amount that you enter here must meet the following conditions:

• The amount that you enter here must be equal to or less than the amount in the Movable memory field for the source partition.
• The sum of the amount that you enter here and the amount in the Current memory field for the destination partition must be less than or equal to the amount in the Maximum memory field for the destination partition.

Enter the amount of memory that you want the logical partition to have in gigabytes (GB) and megabytes (MB).

You cannot enter a number greater than 1024 into the MB field. If you want to move 1024 MB or more of memory, divide the number of megabytes that you want to move by 1024, enter the result into the GB field, and enter the remainder into the MB field.

You cannot specify an amount of memory that is not evenly divisible by the memory block size used on this managed system. The spin buttons on the MB field allow you to increase and decrease the amount in the MB field by the memory block size for the managed system.
