Specify the minimum amount of memory that the logical partition must have when you activate this partition profile.
If you activate a dedicated memory partition and the managed system does not have at least this much uncommitted memory available, then the managed system does not activate the logical partition.
You cannot dynamically move memory so that the logical partition has less than this amount of memory. You can commit less memory to the logical partition only by changing this value in the partition profile properties and reactivating the partition profile.
You can express the minimum memory amount in gigabytes and megabytes. If you enter a number of gigabytes, the wizard multiplies that number by 1024 and adds the result to the megabytes to obtain the total number of megabytes to use.
