Shared processor pool

Specify the shared processor pool that is to be used by the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile. This list displays the name of each configured shared processor pool on this managed system. This list also displays the pool ID of each configured shared processor pool in parentheses. If the name of the desired shared processor pool is not available here, you must first configure the desired shared processor pool using the Shared Processor Pool Management window.

The shared processor pool that you select here might affect your ability to activate the logical partition using this partition profile. Ensure that you set the maximum processing units for the shared processor pool so that all logical partition using the shared processor pool can be activated.

Shared processor partitions use the default shared processor pool called DefaultPool by default.
