Use this page for the following tasks:
Before you can create virtual I/O adapters for this partition profile, ensure that the number in the Maximum virtual adapters field is equal to or greater than the number of virtual adapters that you want to create.
The virtual I/O adapters that currently exist for this partition profile are listed in the tree structure under Number of virtual adapters. By default, the partition profile has two virtual serial adapters. When you click Virtual SCSI, Virtual Ethernet, or Virtual Serial in the tree structure, a detailed list of the selected type of virtual I/O adapter displays on the right side of the page.
To create additional virtual adapters, click the virtual adapter type in the tree structure, and then click the appropriate button on the right side of the page.
To view the properties of a virtual adapter, click the virtual adapter type in the tree structure, select the virtual adapter whose properties you want to view, and click Properties.
To remove a virtual adapter, click the virtual adapter type in the tree structure, select the virtual adapter that you want to remove, and click Remove.
