Add Servers

Use this step to specify which managed systems you want to connect to this Hardware Management Console (HMC). Click Select for each managed system that you want to connect to the HMC.

This step displays the following information for each managed system.

IP Address

This column displays the IP address for each managed system.

Name

This column displays the host name for each managed system that has a host name. If a managed system does not have a host name, this column displays the IP address for the managed system.

Password

This column allows you to enter the password for the service processor for each managed system. The HMC stores each password that you enter so that the HMC does not need to prompt you for the password when you work with the managed system.

This step displays only if you search for managed systems within a range of IP addresses.
