I/O

The I/O window displays the assignment of I/O slots and partition and adaptor-type information grouped by units.

For each I/O device, this area lists the following information:

• Unit displays the name of the unit in which each I/O device is located.
• Bus displays the name of the bus in which each I/O device is located.
• Slot displays the name of the slot in which each I/O device is located.
• Description displays a description of the I/O device in each slot.
• IO Pool ID displays the pool id to which the device is assigned.
• Owner displays the name of the owning partition.
• Type displays the CCIN of the device, only when the device is assigned to an activated IBMi partition.

Click I/O Pools to display all of the I/O pools found in the system and the partitions that are participating in the pools.
