Indicates whether the configuration of the managed system is the manufacturing default configuration. The manufacturing default configuration is the initial partition setup of the managed system as received from the service provider.
The manufacturing default settings for IPL source (IBMi partitions) and boot mode (AIX/Linux partitions) are shown on the Power-On Parameters tab. These settings are applicable only when the system configuration is the manufacturing default configuration. When the system configuration is the manufacturing default configuration, you can change the setting for the next restart by changing the value in the Next field on the Power-On Parameters page. These changes are valid only for the next restart.
