Set up service processor failover

Use this window to enable or disable automatic service processor failover.

The service processor failover capability is designed to eliminate customer outages due to service processor hardware failures. It is managed from the Hardware Management Console (HMC) for a managed system to provide a single point of control to keep both service processors at the same code level.

Click OK to change the failover status.

• When the failover status is Enabled, click OK to change it to Disabled.
• When the failover status is Disabled, click OK to change it to Enabled.

• The secondary service processor is not installed.
• The secondary service processor configuration is not supported.
• The service processor query failed.

If OK is unavailable, click Cancel.
