Use this window to save the activation code information for Capacity on Demand advanced functions to a file. Capacity on Demand advanced functions include Advanced POWER Virtualization Enterprise Edition, Advanced POWER Virtualization Standard Edition, and Enterprise Enablement. The file can be saved either on a remote system or on a removable media device that is available for use on your PC (for example, the diskette drive, a flash memory device that is connected to the USB port on the HMC, or an external diskette drive that is connected to the HMC with a USB cable).
You will need to save this information if the activation code that was provided for your Capacity on Demand advanced function does not work for your managed system. The information that is used to generate the activation code must exactly match the information shown on the HMC Show Code Information wizard. To update the information that is used to generate your activation codes, use this window to save the activation code information to a file on a remote system or a file on removable media. Then you can either attach the file to an e-mail or print it and fax it to your Capacity on Demand administrator.
