Current installation type selection

Displays how the installation will be performed:

Concurrent install and activate

Installs and activates the selected updates. A concurrent update can be installed and activated without rebooting partitions or disrupting applications. This is the default if any of the targeted systems have any updates that can be immediately activated.

Concurrent install only, with deferred disruptive activate

Installs but does not activate the selected updates until a Disruptive Activate is performed. The updates are deferred until the Disruptive Activate.

Disruptive install and activate

Installs the updates and performs an immediate system restart to activate the updates. If you select this option, I/O updates with the Current I/O selection impact Take specified I/O offline (vary it off) are not allowed.
