Displays the total amount of physical memory that is activated in the managed system.
This includes memory that is currently assigned to logical partitions, but does not include any memory that has not yet been activated through Capacity on Demand (CoD). (CoD is available only for certain server models. You must obtain an activation code and enter the code through the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI) to activate the memory.) The amount of memory is displayed in megabytes (MB). If the amount of memory is greater than 1024 MB, the amount of memory is also displayed in gigabytes (GB).
