Modify Install Settings - Deploy System Plan Wizard

Use this page to change the existing settings for the operating environment installation step that you selected previously on the Customize Operating Environment Install page. You can use the Modify Install Settings page to provide missing information, as well as to correct or change existing information for installing the specified operating environment on the target partition.

You can use this page to view or modify the following operating environment installation settings for the target partition:

• Network settings. These required settings describe IP addressing information and ethernet adapter information for the target partition. You must modify these settings to perform the operating environment installation on the selected partition.
• Auto install settings. These optional settings describe any custom installation files that are specified for the operating environment installation. You can view a list of any existing custom installation files, but you can not modify them.
  Note: You can use custom installation files to customize the installation of an operating environment during the system plan deployment process only if the system plan already contains the necessary files. You can create these files and associate them with a system plan only in the System Planning Tool (SPT).

When you finish providing information, click OK and the Deploy System Plan wizard validates the information that you specified. If a setting fails the validation test, the wizard displays error information at the top of the Modify Install Settings page. An error icon displays next to those fields that contain inaccurate or incomplete information. You must resolve any errors before you can continue the deployment process.
