Guided Setup - Change hscroot Password

The user IDs referred to in this wizard are the user IDs for this HMC, not the operating systems. The predefined passwords for hscroot and root should be changed immediately:

Use the hscroot user ID to access the user interface and manage the HMC. A service provider uses the root user ID to perform maintenance on the server.

Follow these password rules:

Note: Passwords may include special characters, but passwords should not begin with a hyphen (-) so that the command line will not mistake it as an option.

New password
Type the new hscroot password here. Make a note of this password for use later.
Re-type new password
Type the new hscroot password again here. This verifies you entered the new password correctly.
Role
Displays the user role assigned to this user ID.
