Use this window to specify the media speed for the selected adapter.
Use the down arrow for your selection. Unless you have a requirement to specify a fixed media speed, select autodetect. If you later need to reduce the speed of the adapter to decrease the amount of processing power it is using for very large amounts of data, you can change this setting at that time in the Network Settings task.
