Remote Service

Use this window to provide your service provider with temporary access to a local console, such as a Hardware Management Console (HMC), for an attended or an unattended remote service session.

For an attended remote service session, click Prepare... to start a call back session and display the session status.
• Check Allow unattended sessions and provide the modem telephone number to allow your service provider to initiate unattended remote service sessions. This configures an unattended session and allows the local HMC to accept unattended remote service sessions for the number of days you specify. If this is not checked, the current unattended session configuration is removed.

  Select the duration information and click OK.
