You can access the Adding a Cluster panel
by selecting the Add a Cluster action from the task list
and clicking Go on the Viewing Clusters panel.
Fields
You
can update the following fields:
- Cluster IP Address (IPv4 or IPv6)
- Enter the IP address of the cluster to manage with the SAN Volume Controller Console.
The SAN Volume Controller Console supports
both IPv4 and IPv6 address formats. For IPv6 addresses, the following
formats are supported:
Note: To use IPv6 address formats in Microsoft® Windows® environments, Microsoft Windows 2003 or later is required.
- Create (Initialize) Cluster
- Select this to complete the cluster-creation process that was
started from the front panel of the node.
Important: If
the cluster is already in use and you are adding the cluster to the
list of managed clusters for this installation of the SAN Volume Controller Console, do
not select the Create (Initialize) Cluster check box.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click this button to add a cluster.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit this panel without adding a cluster.
