You can add Secure Shell (SSH) keys on other hosts.
Perform the following steps to add SSH keys on hosts:
- Generate the public-private key pair on each host that
you want to use the SAN Volume Controller command-line
interface. See the information that came with your SSH client for
specific details about using the key generation program that comes
with your SSH client.
- Copy the public keys from each of these
hosts to the IBM® System Storage® Productivity
Center or
the master console.
- Use the PuTTY secure copy function to copy
these public keys from the IBM System Storage Productivity
Center or
the master console to
the cluster.
- Repeat 3 for
each public key that you copied in step 2.
