The first step for attaching the Apple host is to install
the host bust adapter (HBA).
Before you install the HBA, ensure that it is supported by
the
SAN Volume Controller.

To install the HBA, perform the following steps:
- Shut down your host and its attached peripheral devices
by following the recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Install the HBA by using the adapter installation instructions
of the manufacturer.
