You can dump the data for the cluster configuration
into a file
from the Dumping the Cluster Configuration panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Introduction
The
system dumps the data for the cluster configuration into a file in
the dumps
directory. The file name includes the prefix plus a time stamp. If
the dumps
directory becomes full, an SNMP trap or e-mail notification is sent
to the
addresses that are specified in your error notification settings.
Fields
The
following fields can be updated:
- Type
- Select
the type of log file to dump. The possible values
are:
- Error Log
- Select this to dump a log
that contains time-stamped error information
and event information.
- Feature Log
- Select
this to dump a log that contains a record of events and errors
that are related to the feature settings.
- File name prefix
- Enter the prefix for
the file that will contain the cluster
configuration. If you do not specify a prefix, a default name is assigned.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click
this button to dump the cluster configuration files into a dumps directory.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the
panel without dumping the cluster configuration
files.
