You can change the password for service users from
the Modify Service Password panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Fields
The
following fields are available:
- New Cluster Service Password
- Enter the service password, which is used for routine cluster
service activities. It provides access to a limited set of cluster
maintenance functions.
Passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Passwords are a maximum of 15 alphanumeric characters.
- Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Valid characters are uppercase letters (A - Z), lowercase letters
(a - z), digits (0 - 9), dash ( - ), and underscore ( _ ).
- The first character cannot be a dash ( - ).
- Re-type new Cluster Service Password (for verification)
- Re-enter the service password to verify the change.
