Use the Configuring iSNS Server panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
configure the Internet Storage Name Service (iSNS) server which is
used to manage iSCSI targets and for iSCSI discovery.
Attributes
The
following attribute is displayed:
- iSNS Server IP Address
- Displays the IP address for the current iSNS server.
Fields
The
following fields can be updated:
- IP Address
- Select either IPv4 or IPv6 for
the address format that is used by the iSNS server and enter the IP
address for the iSNS. If the iSNS server uses an IPv4 address, enter
a valid IP address in the 1.1.1.1.1 format. If the iSNS server uses
an IPv6 address, enter a valid IP address in the following supported
formats:
- Remove Configuration
- Select this to remove the current iSNS server configuration from
the cluster.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click this button to configure the iSNS server with the specified
settings.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit this panel without configuring the iSNS
server.
