Use the Deleting Ports–Confirmation panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
confirm the deletion of the selected port. When you delete the port,
all virtual disks (VDisks) no longer use the port. If this is the
last port for a host, the host is also automatically deleted. If this
is the case, select Force Delete to delete the port and its associated
host.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Delete
- Click this button to delete the displayed port or ports.
- Force Delete
- Click this button to delete the displayed port or ports when they
are the last ports associated with the host. This action also deletes
the host.
Note: This option only appears if system detects that this
is the last port associated with the host.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit this panel without deleting the port
or ports.
