Use the Deleting a Host panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
remove a host object from a cluster. You can delete host objects if
there are no mappings between the host and its virtual disks (VDisks).
If there are mappings, you must delete the host object using the force option.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- Name
- Displays the name of the host to be deleted.
- Port Count
- Displays the number of ports (WWPNs and iSCSi names) that are associated with
this host object.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click this button to delete a host object. When you delete a host
object, all active ports are added to the Unconfigured Ports Candidates list.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without deleting the host.
