Use the Renaming Disk Controller System panel
in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
rename a disk controller system.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- Disk
Controller Name
- Displays the current name of the disk controller
system.
- Disk Controller ID
- Displays
the system-assigned ID of the disk controller system.
- Vendor ID
- Displays the identifier
for the manufacturer of the disk controller system.
For example, the identifier for the SAN Volume Controller is IBM®.
Fields
You
can update the following fields:
- New
Name
- Enter the new name for the selected disk controller system.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click
this button to rename a disk controller system.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without renaming
a disk controller
system.
