Viewing e-mail server properties

Use the E-mail Server Properties panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to display e-mail server settings that are associated with the cluster.

Attributes

The following attributes are displayed in the table for e-mail details:

E-mail Service State
Displays whether the e-mail service that is used by the cluster is enabled or disabled.
E-mail Reply Address
Displays the address where the e-mail is sent from.
Contact Name
Displays the name of the contact person for the cluster that sends the notifications.
Machine Location
Displays the location of the SAN Volume Controller cluster.
Phone (Primary)
Displays the primary telephone number of the contact person for the cluster that sends the notifications.
Phone (Alternate)
Displays the alternate telephone number of the contact person for the cluster that sends the notifications.
Inventory Schedule (days)
Displays the interval at which inventory e-mails are sent to the designated e-mail recipients. The interval range is 0 to 15. The interval is measured in days. A value of Off indicates that inventory e-mail notification is disabled.

The following attributes are displayed in the table for e-mail server:

Server Name
Displays the unique name that is assigned to the e-mail server.
IP Address
Displays the IP address of the e-mail server. Both IPv4 or IPv6 addresses are supported.
Port
Displays the port number for the e-mail server. This must be a value of 0 - 65535. The default value is 25.

Click this button to exit the panel.
