The Ethernet
option displays the operational state of the Ethernet ports, the speed
and duplex information, and their media access control (MAC) addresses.
The Ethernet panel shows one of the following states:
- Config - Yes
- This node is the configuration node.
- Config - No
- This node is not the configuration node.
- No Cluster
- This node is not a member of a cluster.
Press the right
button to view the details of the individual Ethernet ports.
Ethernet Port-1 and
Ethernet Port-2
The Ethernet port option displays the state
of the links and indicates whether or not there is an active link
with an Ethernet network.
- Link Online
- An Ethernet cable is attached to this port.
- Link Offline
- No Ethernet cable is attached to this port or the link has failed.
Speed-1 or Speed-2
The
speed option displays the speed and duplex information for the Ethernet
port. The speed information can be one of the following values:
- *10
- The speed is 10 MBps.
- *100
- The speed is 100 MBps.
- *1000
- The speed is 1000 MBps.
The duplex information can be one of the following
values:
- *Full
- Data can be sent and received at the same time.
- *Half
- Data can be sent and received in one direction at a time.
MAC Address-1 or MAC
Address-2
The MAC address option displays the media access
control (MAC) address of the Ethernet port.
