Exposing logical units on your existing storage to the cluster using switch zoning

You can use switch zoning to expose logical units that are on your existing storage to the cluster.

You must create a cluster before you can use switch zoning to expose logical units.
Important: Ensure that logical units are not zoned or mapped so that they are detected by the SAN Volume Controller and a host at the same time. Ensure that all of the logical units can be detected by all of the SAN Volume Controller nodes that are in the cluster on both storage area networks in a redundant fabric.
