To configure the firewall, Local Area Connection 1 on the master
console must be allowed to connect to the IBM Remote Support Gateway through
UDP port 500.
If you have a NAT (network address translation) firewall, you must allow
Local Area Connection 1 on the master console to connect to the IBM Remote
Support Gateway through UDP port 4500.
Note: For Remote Support to work, a
maximum of two ports can be permitted to connect to the Local Area Connection
1 on the master console.
