Use the Viewing FlashCopy® Consistency Group
General Details panel
in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
view details about the FlashCopy consistency group.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- ID
- Displays the system-assigned identifier for the FlashCopy consistency
group.
- Name
- Displays the name of
the FlashCopy consistency group.
- Group State
- Displays the current state of the FlashCopy consistency group. The following
values are possible:
- Copying
- Indicates that
at least one FlashCopy mapping in the consistency
group is in the Copying state and no FlashCopy mappings
are in the Suspended
state.
- Empty
- Indicates
that the FlashCopy consistency group does not have FlashCopy mappings
defined for the consistency group.
- Idle
or Copied
- Indicates that all FlashCopy Mappings
in this consistency group are
in the Idle or Copied state.
- Preparing
- Indicates that at least one FlashCopy mapping
in this consistency
group is in the Preparing state.
- Prepared
- Indicates that the consistency group is ready to start. While
in this
state, the target VDisks of all FlashCopy mappings
in this consistency
group are offline.
- Stopping
- Indicates
that the Stop a Consistency Group command has
been issued
and the stop task has started, but has not completed. At least one FlashCopy mapping
in the consistency group is in the Stopping state and no FlashCopy mappings
are in the Copying or Suspended state.
- Stopped
- Indicates that the consistency group is stopped
because
you have issued a command or an I/O error has occurred.
- Suspended
- Indicates that at least
one mapping in the consistency group
is in the Suspended state because access to its metadata has been
lost. When
access to the metadata is restored, the mapping returns to the Copying
or
Stopping state. When no mappings in the consistency group are in the
Suspended
state, the consistency group returns to the Copying or Stopping state
- Automatically Delete
- Displays whether the FlashCopy consistency group
will be deleted automatically if the last mapping in the group is
deleted or moved out of the consistency group. The following values
are possible:
