You can delete
a FlashCopy® consistency group using the Deleting FlashCopy Consistency
Groups panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console.
You can only delete a consistency group that has mappings by forcing
the deletion.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- Name
- Displays the name of the FlashCopy consistency group.
- State
- Displays the current state of
the FlashCopy consistency group. The following
values are possible:
- Empty
- Indicates
that the consistency group does not have any FlashCopy mappings.
- Idle or Copied
- Indicates that all FlashCopy Mappings in the consistency group
are
in the Idle or Copied state.
- Preparing
- Indicates at least one FlashCopy mapping in the consistency
group is in
the Preparing state.
- Prepared
- Indicates
that the consistency group is ready to start. While in this
state, the target VDisks of all FlashCopy mappings
in the consistency
group are offline.
- Copying
- Indicates
that at least one FlashCopy mapping in the consistency
group is in the Copying state and no FlashCopy mappings
are in the Suspended
state.
- Stopping
- Indicates that
at least one FlashCopy mapping in the consistency
group is in the Stopping state and no FlashCopy mappings
are in the Copying
or Suspended state.
- Stopped
- Indicates
that the consistency group is stopped because you issued a command
or an I/O error occurred.
- Suspended
- Indicates
that at least one FlashCopy mapping in the consistency
group is in the Suspended state.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click
this button to delete a consistency group.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without deleting a consistency
group.
