You can stop
a FlashCopy® consistency group from the Stopping FlashCopy Consistency
Groups panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Introduction
Stopping
this FlashCopy consistency group stops each
of the mappings
in the consistency group. If any mappings depend on any of these mappings,
the group enters the Stopping state until the data is copied from
the target
VDisks.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Stop
- Click
this button to stop the FlashCopy consistency group.
- Forced Stop
- Click this button to stop
the FlashCopy consistency group immediately.
Attention: Use the Forced Stop option
with caution because it causes any mappings that depend on those in
the consistency
group to also be stopped.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without stopping the FlashCopy consistency
group.
