Use the Verify Attributes panel in the Create an Image
Mode Virtual Disk wizard to confirm that the properties you have set
for the image mode virtual disk (VDisk) are correct.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- VDisk Name
- Displays the name of the VDisk. If you did not specify a name,
a default name is assigned.
- Unmanaged disk–Copy 0
- Displays the name of the MDisk used for Copy 0.
- Unmanaged disk–Copy 1
- Displays the name of the MDisk used for Copy 1.
- I/O Group Name
- Displays the name of the I/O group that this image mode VDisk
is a member of.
- Preferred Node
- Displays the preferred node for I/O of this image mode VDisk.
- MDisk group name–Copy 0
- Displays the name of the MDisk group for Copy 0 of the image mode
VDisk.
- MDisk group name–Copy 1
- Displays the name of the MDisk group for Copy 1 of the image mode
VDisk.
- Capacity
- Displays the capacity of the image mode VDisk.
- Import
- Displays if the space-efficient VDisk copy is imported from the
MDisk. The following values are possible:
- Warning level
- Displays the warning level threshold. When the used capacity first
exceeds this value, a warning message is sent. This value is displayed
as a percentage.
- Autoexpand
- Displays whether the space-efficient VDisk will automatically
expand its real capacities by allocating new extents from their MDisk
group. The following values are possible:
- Grain size
- Displays the grain size in kilobytes (KB) for the space-efficient
image mode VDisk.
- Cache Mode
- Indicates the cache mode for this image mode VDisk. The following
values are possible:
- Read/Write
- All read and write I/O operations that are performed by the VDisk
are stored in the cache.
- None
- All read and write I/O operations that are performed by the VDisk
are not stored in the cache.
- Unit Device Identifier
- The unit device identifier as a decimal or hexadecimal value.
- Mirrored
- Displays whether the image mode VDisk is mirrored.
- Synchronization Rate
- Displays the current synchronization rate for the VDisk. A value
of zero (0) disables synchronization. The default value is 50 (2 MB
per second).
The following table shows the relationship of the
rate value to the data copied per second.
