You can increase throughput by adding more nodes to the
cluster. The nodes must be added in pairs and assigned to a new I/O
group.
Perform the following steps to increase the size of your
cluster:
- Add a node to your cluster and repeat this step for the
second node.
- If you want to balance the load between the existing I/O
groups and the new I/O groups, you can migrate your virtual disks
(VDisks) to new I/O groups. Repeat this step for all VDisks that you
want to assign to the new I/O group.
