There are several miscellaneous considerations to be aware
of when working with a Solaris host for iSCSI.
- You can view the disks by using the <format> utility.
- You need to label all disks before running I/O on them. You can
use the <format> utility to label them.
- Slice and partition are common Solaris terms. s2
slice represents the whole disk. If you have used partitioning, you
can use s0 to s7. If you have not used partitioning, you can use s2
slice.
