The cluster maintains a number of log files and trace files
that can be used to manage your cluster and diagnose problems.
The following files are maintained:
- Error log
- Contain error information and event information that is time stamped
- Configuration log
- Contain configuration information
- Input/output (I/O) statistic log
- Contains I/O statistics that are collected over certain intervals
- I/O trace logs
- Contains a record of I/O operations over certain intervals
- License logs
- Contains a record of events and errors related to the license
settings
- Software Dumps
- Dumps of SAN Volume Controller memory
- CIMOM logs
- Contains a record of events and errors related to the CIMOM
