Creating a managed disk group–Set attributes

Use the Set Attributes panel in the Create a Managed Disk Group wizard to provide a name and select the managed disks to include in the group.

Fields

You can update the following fields:
MDisk Group Name
Enter a name for the MDisk group. If you do not specify a name, a default name is assigned.
MDisk Candidates
Select the MDisks to add to the MDisk group. If you do not select any MDisks, an empty MDisk group is created.
Warn when used capacity reaches:
Specify a threshold to send a warning error log for the MDisk when the capacity that is used first exceeds the specified level. You can either specify a percentage of MDisk capacity or enter a specific amount of capacity to be allocated. If you enter a specific amount, you must also select the units for the space. The following units can be selected:
  • B
  • KB
  • MB
  • GB
  • TB
  • PB

Actions

The following actions are available:

Back
Click this button to return to the previous wizard panel.
Next
Click this button after you have completed this panel.
Cancel
Click this button to exit this wizard without creating an MDisk group.
