Use the Modify E-mail Server panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
change attributes for an e-mail server, such as the IP address and
port number.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed:
- Server Name
- Displays the unique name that is assigned to the e-mail server.
- IP Address
- Displays the IP address of the e-mail server. Both
IPv4 or IPv6 addresses are supported.
- Port
- Displays the port number for the e-mail server. This must be a
value of 0 - 65535. The default value is 25.
Fields
You
can update the following fields:
- Server Name
- Enter a unique name to assign to the e-mail server object. The
name must be a 1- through 15-character string, and cannot start with
a hyphen or number. When specifying a server name, emailserver is
a reserved word.
- IP Address
- Enter the IP address of the e-mail server object. This must be
a valid IPv4 or IPv6 address. IPv6 addresses can be zero compressed.
- Port
- Enter the port number for the e-mail server object. This must
be a value of 0 - 65535. The default value is 25.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click this button to change the e-mail server settings.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit this panel without changing e-mail server
settings.
