You can use the command-line interface (CLI) to modify
certain attributes of Metro
Mirror or Global Mirror relationships.
You can change only one attribute at a time for each command submission.
To modify Metro
Mirror or Global Mirror relationships,
run the svctask chrcrelationship command.
- Run the svctask chrcrelationship command
to change the name of a Metro
Mirror or Global Mirror relationship. For example, to change the relationship name, enter:
svctask chrcrelationship -name new_rc_rel_name previous_rc_rel_name
Where new_rc_rel_name is the new
name of the relationship and previous_rc_rel_name is
the previous name of the relationship.
- Run the svctask chrcrelationship command
to remove a relationship from whichever consistency group it is a
member of. For example, enter:
svctask chrcrelationship -force rc_rel_name/id
Where rc_rel_name/id is the name
or ID of the relationship.
