These panel descriptions apply to all node Ethernet port
panels that are part of the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Viewing node Ethernet ports
Use the Viewing Node Ethernet Ports panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
view information about Ethernet ports on nodes that are associated
with this cluster. A node Ethernet port represents an iSCSI port on
an SAN Volume Controller node.
Viewing node Ethernet port details
Use the Viewing Node Ethernet Port Details panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
display detailed information about node Ethernet ports. A node Ethernet
port represents an iSCSI port on an SAN Volume Controller node.
Viewing Ethernet port IP address details
Use the Viewing Ethernet Port IP Address Details panel
in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
view IP address information that is related to the node Ethernet port.
A node Ethernet port represents an iSCSI port on an SAN Volume Controller node.
Configuring node Ethernet ports
Use the Configuring Node Ethernet Ports panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
configure node Ethernet ports. A node Ethernet port represents an
iSCSI port on an SAN Volume Controller node.
Select the type of IP connection, and then enter the appropriate IP
configuration. Both IPv4 and IPv6 can be concurrently specified; however,
they must be configured separately. For example, you can configure
the IPv4 address for the node Ethernet port first, then use this panel
to configure the IPv6 address for the port.
Configuring partner node Ethernet port
Use the Configure Partner Node Ethernet Port panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
pre-set node Ethernet port addresses for a partner node that is currently
offline.
Removing a node Ethernet port configuration
Use the Remove Node Ethernet Port configuration panel in
the SAN Volume Controller Console to
remove the configuration of the node Ethernet port.
Removing a partner node Ethernet port configuration
Use the Remove Partner Node Ethernet Port Configuration
panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
remove the configuration of the partner node Ethernet port.
