The node status is indicated on the
front panel. The
status can be one of the following states:
- Active
- The SAN Volume Controller node is
operational and assigned to a cluster. It
has access
to the fibre-channel fabric.
- Inactive
- The SAN Volume Controller node is
operational and assigned to a cluster. It
has no
access to the fibre-channel fabric.
- Free
- The SAN Volume Controller node is
operational, but has not been assigned to
any cluster.
It has access to the fibre-channel fabric.
- Disconnected
- The SAN Volume Controller node is
operational, but has not been assigned to
any cluster.
It has no access to the fibre-channel fabric.
- Failed
- The SAN Volume Controller node is
not operational. A hardware fault is preventing
the SAN Volume Controller from
being part of a cluster.
