SAN Volume Controller 2145-4F2 connectors

The external connectors consist of the power supply and the fibre-channel, Ethernet, and serial ports.

Figure 1 shows the external connectors on the SAN Volume Controller 2145-4F2 back panel assembly.

  • Reference key number one identifies the power connector. Power connector
  • Reference key number two identifies fibre-channel port 3. Fibre-channel port 3
  • Reference key number three identifies fibre-channel port 4. Fibre-channel port 4
  • Reference key number four identifies Ethernet port 2 (not used on model 2145-4F2). Ethernet port 2
  • Reference key number five identifies Ethernet port 1. Ethernet port 1
  • Reference key number six identifies the serial connector. Serial connector
  • Reference key number seven identifies fibre-channel port 2. Fibre-channel port 2
  • Reference key number eight identifies fibre-channel port 1. Fibre-channel port 1

Figure 2 shows the type of connector that is located on the power supply assembly. The connector enables you to connect the SAN Volume Controller 2145-4F2 to the power source from the uninterruptible power supply.
