Physical disks licensing settings

Use the Physical Disk Licensing Settings panel in the Create New Cluster wizard to set licensing for physical disks licensing.

Introduction

Physical disk licensing is based on the number of physical disks that you are virtualizing and whether you selected to license the FlashCopy® feature, the Metro Mirror and Global Mirror feature, or both of these features. If you purchased SAN Volume Controller Entry Edition (5639-VW*), then physical disk licensing is your initial licensing scheme.
