Use the Viewing FlashCopy® Progress panel in
the SAN Volume Controller Console to
monitor the progress of the FlashCopy process.
Introduction
To
view the progress of FlashCopy copy processes,
click FlashCopy in the portfolio.
If
you have many FlashCopy relationships that are currently
being copied, you can filter the list. In the actions list, click Show
Filter Row and then click the link under the column to
filter. This displays a new panel where you can define filter criteria.
When
you click the link to view FlashCopy progress, more detailed
information is displayed.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the first table:
- Progress (%)
- Displays the percentage of the background copy that has completed,
except when the state is Stopping. This value changes depending on
the state of the FlashCopy mapping. When the state is Stopping,
this Progress % indicates the percentage complete of the process that
is stopping the copy.
- ID
- Displays the FlashCopy ID. The detailed information
includes the name of the FlashCopy mapping.
- State
- Displays the state of the FlashCopy mapping:
- Idle or Copied
- Preparing
- Prepared
- Copying
- Stopping
- Stopped
- Suspended
The following detailed attributes are displayed
in the second table:
- FlashCopy ID
- Displays the system-assigned ID for the FlashCopy mapping.
- FlashCopy Name
- Displays the name of the FlashCopy mapping.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Go
- Click this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
Note: Only table filter tasks
are available from the task list.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed values.
- Close
- Click this button to exit the panel.
