Use the Viewing Image Mode Migration Progress panel in
the SAN Volume Controller Console to
monitor the progress of migrating data from a virtual disk (VDisk)
to an image mode VDisk.
Introduction
To
view the progress of migrating data to an image mode VDisk, click Manage
Progress>View Progress>Image Mode Migration in the portfolio.
If
you have many VDisks that are currently being migrated to image mode
VDisks, you can filter the list. In the actions list, click Show
Filter Row and then click the link under the column to
filter. This displays a new panel where you can define filter criteria.
When
you click the link for your image mode migration, more detailed information
is displayed.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the first table:
- Progress
(%)
- Displays the percentage complete of the background copy,
except
when the state is stopping.
- VDisk ID
- Displays
the identifier of the VDisk that is being migrated. The
detailed information includes the VDisk Name.
- Target MDisk ID
- Displays the identifier of the target
MDisk. The detailed information
includes the Target MDisk Group ID.
- Target
MDisk Name
- Displays the name of the target MDisk. The detailed
information
includes the Target MDisk Group Name.
- Threads
- Displays the number of threads that are being used for the migration
process.
- Copy ID
- Displays
the identifier of the VDisk copy that is being migrated.
The following detailed attributes are displayed
in the second table:
- VDisk ID
- Displays the
system-assigned ID of the VDisk that is being migrated.
- VDisk Name
- Displays the name of the VDisk that
is being migrated.
- Copy ID
- Displays
the identifier of the VDisk copy that is being migrated.
- Target MDisk Group ID
- Displays the system-assigned
ID of the target MDisk group.
- Target MDisk
Group Name
- Displays the name of the target MDisk group.
- Target MDisk ID
- Displays the system-assigned
ID of the target MDisk.
- Target MDisk Name
- Displays the name of the target MDisk.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Go
- Click
this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
Note: Only table filter
tasks are available from the task list.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed
values.
- Close
- Click this button
to exit the panel.
