Use the Viewing VDisk Formatting Progress panel
in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
monitor the progress of VDisk formatting.
Introduction
To
view the progress of VDisks that are formatting, click Manage
Progress>View Progress>VDisk Formatting in the portfolio.
If
you have many VDisks that are formatting, you can filter the list.
In the actions list, click Show Filter Row and
then click the link under the column to filter. This displays a new
panel where you can define filter criteria.
When you click the
link to format your VDisk, detailed information is displayed.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the first table:
- Progress
(%)
- Displays the percentage complete for the formatting process.
Note: If
the VDisk has multiple copies, this will display
the average of the progress of the formatting of each copy.
- ID
- The identifier of the VDisk being
formatted. The detailed information
includes the name of the VDisk.
The following
attributes are displayed in the
second table:
- VDisk ID
- Displays the identifier
of the VDisk which is being formatted.
- VDisk
Name
- Displays the name of the VDisk which is being formatted.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Go
- Click
this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
Note: Only table filter
tasks are available from the task list.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed
values.
- Close
- Click this button
to exit the panel.
