Use the Viewing VDisk Migration Progress panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
monitor the progress of migrating virtual disk (VDisk)
copies from one managed disk (MDisk) group to another.
Introduction
To
view the progress of migrating a VDisk, click Manage Progress>View
Progress>VDisk Migration in the portfolio.
If you
have many VDisks that are currently being migrated, you can filter
the list. In the actions list, click Show Filter Row and
then click the link under the column to filter. This displays a new
panel where you can define filter criteria.
When you click the
link to migrate your VDisk, more detailed information is displayed.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the first table:
- Progress
- Displays the percentage of the VDisk migration process that is
complete.
- VDisk ID
- Displays the identifier of the VDisk that is being migrated.
- MDisk Group
- Displays the target MDisk group.
- Threads
- Displays the number of threads being used for the migration process.
- Copy ID
- Displays the system-assigned identifier for the mirrored copy
of the VDisk that is being migrated.
The following attributes are displayed in the
second table:
- VDisk ID
- Displays the identifier of the VDisk that is being migrated.
- VDisk Name
- Displays the name of the VDisk that is being migrated.
- MDisk Group ID
- Displays the identifier of the MDisk group.
- MDisk Group Name
- Displays the name of the MDisk group.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Go
- Click this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
Note: Only table filter
tasks are available from the task list.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed values.
- Close
- Click this button to exit the panel.
