Creating a Metro Mirror or Global Mirror Consistency Group–Introduction

You can use the Create a Metro or Global Mirror Consistency Group wizard in the SAN Volume Controller Console to create consistency groups.

A consistency group is a collection of Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationships that allow all the relationships to be updated simultaneously.

Complete the following tasks in the wizard:
  • Select the auxiliary cluster
  • Add Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationships to the consistency group.
  • Verify the settings of the consistency group
