Recovering from a Disruptive Software Upgrade

You must perform the following steps when the software for your cluster is upgraded in a manner that disrupts normal user operations.

Problem

On the Viewing Clusters panel, the Availability Status of a cluster changes from OK to Invalid SSH Fingerprint.

Investigation

You do this action:
  1. From the Viewing Clusters panel, select the desired cluster and the Reset the SSH fingerprint action from the list. Click OK. A message is displayed that asks you if you want to reset the SSH fingerprint.
  2. Click OK.
    Note: The Availability Status changes to SSH Key Refused. Record the internet protocol (IP) address of your cluster.
  3. Select the desired cluster and the Remove a cluster action from the list. Click GO.
  4. Select the Add a cluster action from the list. Click GO. The Add Clusters panel is displayed.
  5. Type the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the cluster that you just removed. Click OK. The Maintaining SSH Keys panel is displayed.
  6. Click List Keys. A list of installed IDs is displayed.
  7. Select your ID, and click Delete Selected IDs.
  8. Click Confirm Delete.
  9. Click Back on your Web browser to return to the Maintain SSH Keys panel.
  10. Click Browse and locate the directory where your Public Key (file upload) is installed.
  11. Select the key and click Open.
  12. Type the name of your ID in the ID field.
  13. Select the Administrator Access Level and click Add Key.
  14. Click Clusters in the portfolio. The Viewing Clusters panel displays an Availability Status of OK.
